THE WORLD NEEDS MORE SOLUTIONS FOR HEALTHY, RESPONSIBLY-SOURCED SEAFOOD

Postelsia joined the WFCF family in February 2020, broadening our ability to create opportunities for producers both at home and abroad.

Each of the WFCF divisions are made up of teams of people who are the industry’s experts in their given field.  WFCF divisions specialize in different areas so that they can provide customers with services that meet their needs through a team that intimately understands their unique business.

WFCF has the unparalleled ability to provide customers with a full suite of verifications and certifications so that farmers, ranchers and brands can best communicate all of their products’ attributes and claims.

What is Postelsia?

A type of seaweed found only along the west coast of North America where the wave energy is most intense, Postelsia offers an inspiring example of how life can thrive in difficult environments - even between strong opposing forces. We believe this is a good (albeit geeky) metaphor for sustainable food systems as we reconcile market realities within the ecological constraints of a healthy planet.
